Robert Francis „Bobby“ Kennedy, známy tiež ako „RFK“, bol americký politik, jeden z dvoch mladších bratov prezidenta USA Johna F. Kennedyho, ktorý ho vymenoval do svojej vlády ako ministra spravodlivosti. Robert F. Kennedy úzko spolupracoval so svojim bratom počas invázie v Zátoke svíň a Karibskej krízy. V roku 1964, rok po smrti svojho brata, bol Robert F. Kennedy zvolený do Senátu za štát New York a o štyri roky neskôr kandidoval na prezidenta. Bol na neho spáchaný atentát 5. júna 1968 krátko potom, ako na demokratických primárkách v hoteli Ambassador v Los Angeles predniesol svoj prejav.
