Theodore Robert „Ted“ Bundy bol americký sériový vrah a násilník, ktorý znásilnil a vraždil mnoho mladých žien v Spojených štátoch v rokoch 1974 až 1978. Po vyše desať rokoch popierania sa Bundy priznal k 30 vraždám, aj keď skutočné číslo obetí je neznáme. Väčšinu obetí zbil palicou a následne zaškrtil, niektoré z nich aj znásilnil .

Bundy je často považovaný za typického sériového vraha, bol popisovaný ako pôvabný a vzdelaný mladý muž. Vraždil a znásilňoval mladé dievčatá a obťažoval svoje obete aj posmrtne. Všetky jeho obete boli mladé dievčatá, belošky vo veku 12-26 rokov.

Bundy bol popravený na elektrickom kresle v januári 1989 vo Floridskej štátnej väznici. Deň pred popravou poskytol rozhovor, v ktorom nepriamo odhalil svoj motív: "Idete ma zabiť, aby ste ochránili spoločnosť. Ale vonku je veľa ľudí závislých od pornografie a s tým nerobíte nič." Wikipedia
