Seamus Heaney citáty

Seamus Justin Heaney bol írsky básnik, spisovateľ a prekladateľ z poľštiny. Je nositeľom Nobelovej ceny za literatúru za rok 1995. Jeho dielo je známe opismi írskeho vidieckeho života a udalostí z írskej histórie, ako aj zmienkami z írskych mýtov.

Po ukončení Queen's University vyučoval rok na strednej škole a neskôr prednášal na univerzitách v Belfaste a Dubline. V roku 1982 začal čiastočne vyučovať na Harvardovej univerzite, v rokoch 1989 - 1993 vyučoval aj na Oxfordskej univerzite. Wikipedia
