Kenzaburó Óe je japonský spisovateľ. V roku 1994 získal Nobelovu cenu za literatúru.
Pochádzal z bohatej rodiny, ktorá stratila väčšinu majetku v povojnových reformách. V roku 1954 nastúpil na Tokijskú univerzitu. Už počas štúdia bol označovaný za najsľubnejšieho spisovateľa od čias Mishima Yukia. Prvýkrát si vyslúžil pozornosť spisovateľskej verejnosti dielom Shisha no ogori 1957. Wikipedia
