Britney Jean Spearsová je americká speváčka, tanečníčka a herečka. Ako dieťa účinkovala v divadelných predstaveniach a televíznych reláciách. V roku 1997 podpísala zmluvu s vydavateľstvom Jive Records a vydala svoje prvé dva albumy ...Baby One More Time a Oops!... I Did It Again , ktoré obdržali medzinárodný úspech a v tých časoch patrili medzi najpredávanejšie albumy dospievajúcich sólo umelcov. Rovnomenné skladby „...Baby One More Time“ a „Oops!... I Did It Again“ zlomili medzinárodné rekordy v predajnosti. V roku 2001 Britney vydala svoj tretí štúdiový album Britney a zahrala si rolu vo filme Crossroads . Prijala kreatívnu kontrolu nad svojím štvrtým albumom In the Zone , čo prinieslo celosvetový úspech singlu „Toxic“.
V roku 2007 kvôli osobným záležitostiam zastavila svoju kariéru. Jej piaty štúdiový album Blackout, vyšiel ešte na konci toho roku spolu s úspešnými hitmi „Gimme More“ a „Piece of Me“. Jej nevyrovnané správanie a hospitalizácie pokračovali aj na ďalší rok, v dôsledku čoho bola umiestnená pod conservatorship. V roku 2008 vydala svoj šiesty album Circus vrátane medzinárodného hitu „Womanizer“. Siedmy album Femme Fatale , sa stal jej prvým albumom, ktorý obsahoval tri single z top 10 v USA. V roku 2013 vydala svoj ôsmy štúdiový album s názvom Britney Jean.
