Cchaj Jing-wen , je bývalá vysokoškolská učiteľka práva, neskôr taiwanská politička a od roku 2016 súčasná prezidentka Čínskej republiky, prvá žena v histórii tohto úradu. Je členkou Demokratickej pokrokovej strany. Na rozdiel od svojho predchodcu v prezidentskom úrade, Ma Jing-ťioua, je známa ako odporkyňa zbližovania s pevninskou Čínou. Wikipedia
