Nominovaný na sošku americkej filmovej akadémie bol aj roku 1994 za vedľajšiu rolu vo filme Quiz Show. Britskú cenu BAFTA získal ešte za hlavnú úlohu vo filme That Lady a za vedľajšiu v snímke The Crucible . Známa je aj jeho úloha vo vojnovom filme Vlak . Wikipedia
