John Ashbery citáty

John Ashbery bol americký básnik, kritik a redaktor.Študoval na Harvarde a na Columbijskej univerzite. Veľa rokov strávil v Paríži, kde pracoval ako spravodajca a umelecký kritik. Po návrate domov vydával rôzne časopisy. Stretával sa s newyorskou básnickou skupinou.

Jeho diela sú výnimočné svojimi metaforami a brilantným vyjadrovaním a prácou s jazykom, v čom ho silne ovplyvnila francúzština. Často sa venoval zobrazovaniu cudziny i domova, alebo popisom podvedomia. Wikipedia
