Terence Michael Joseph „Geezer“ Butler je britský basgitarista a jeden zo zakladateľov heavy metalovej skupiny Black Sabbath. V rokoch 2006–2010 bol členom projektu Heaven and Hell.

Svoju prvú skupinu Rare Breed vtedy ešte gitarista Geezer Butler založil so spolužiakom Johnem "Ozzym" Osbournom na jeseň roku 1967. Neskôr sa na istý čas rozišli a zase stretli spolu s gitaristom Tonym Iommim a bubeníkom Billom Wardom v bluesovej kapele Polka Tulk. Skupinu premenovali na Earth, ale potom ako zistili, že v Anglicku už účinkuje kapela s rovnakým názvom tak si začiatkom roku 1969 zmenili meno na Black Sabbath. Wikipedia

“I’ve grown up with animals in the house, I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters, and all of us had cats, dogs, mice, chickens, frogs, tortoises, so they’ve always been a big part of my life. My dog, Scamp, was my best friend when I was growing up, and he was just as much a brother to me as my human brothers. Someone threw acid on him, and he almost died, but my parents spent their life savings having him treated. It appalled me that people could be so cruel, and ever since I have stuck up for animals. It is something I can be active in, unlike trying to figure out the appalling things humans do to each other.”
