Vyhral voľby a 11. mája 2010 sa po demisii Gordona Browna stal najmladším britským premiérom od roku 1812. Vyhral aj druhé volebné obdobie v máji 2015. Na funkciu premiéra rezignoval v lete 2016, vzhľadom na referendum o vystúpení Spojeného kráľovstva z EÚ, premiérkou sa stala Theresa Mayová. Wikipedia
