Condoleezza Riceová , niekedy dôverne nazývaná Condi, je americká politička. Pôsobila vo funkcii ministerky zahraničných vecí v administratíve George W. Busha v jeho druhom funkčnom období. V predchádzajúcej vláde Georga W. Busha pracovala ako poradkyňa pre národnú bezpečnosť, ministrom zahraničia bol v tej dobe Colin Powell.

Je dcérou nemajetného kňaza a vyrastala na juhu USA v dobe končiacej rasovej segregácie. Študovala na univerzite v Denveri, kde ju učil Josef Korbel, otec Madeleine Albrightovej; práve vďaka nemu sa začala zaoberať medzinárodnými vzťahmi a politikou ZSSR. V roku 1981 tu získala doktorát. Témou jej dizertačnej práce bol vzťah armády a politiky v Česko-Slovensku.V roku 1984 publikovala štúdiu o vzťahu česko-slovenskej armády a ZSSR.

26. januára 2005 nahradila Colina Powella na poste ministra zahraničných vecí , čím sa stala prvou Afroameričankou , a druhou ženou na uvedenom poste. Wikipedia
