Anne Elizabeth Applebaumová je americká novinárka a spisovateľka.

Venuje sa najmä problematike sovietskeho Ruska a východnej Európy. Je členkou pravicovo orientovaného think tanku American Enterprise Institute, mala blízko k administratíve George W. Bush.

V roku 2004 získala Pulitzerovu cenu v kategórii literatúry faktu za knihu Gulag: A History. V rovnakej kategórii získala v roku 2012 National Book Award za knihu Iron Curtain: The Crushing of Eastern Europe, 1945–1956.

Jej manželom je poľský politik, bývalý minister zahraničných vecí Radosław Sikorski, majú synov Aleksandra a Tadeusza. Spolu s manželom žije v Chobieline v Kujavsko-pomoranskom vojvodstve, kde si kúpili a postupne opravili zdevastovaný klasicistický zámoček. Wikipedia
