Süleyman I. bol sultán osmanskej dynastie. Pozdvihol Osmanskú ríšu v šestnástom storočí k najslávnejším okamihom. Bol vynikajúci vojenský stratég, ale aj panovník, ktorý svojej zemi dokázal dať zákony a rady. Vládol štyridsaťšesť rokov.
